Instant Search Setup

What it is 
The master toggle and initial configuration workflow that activates Instant Search and determines where ConversionBox will take over the store’s search results experience. 

Why it matters 
Turning Instant Search on redirects search queries from the theme’s native results to ConversionBox’s real-time UI. Proper setup is required to avoid conflicts with other search tools and to ensure consistent behavior across pages and devices. 

How to configure 

  1. In the ConversionBox admin, locate Search Options → Instant Search. 

  1. Toggle Enable Instant Search to ON. 

  1. Specify the target content container via the CSS Selector (see that section for details). 

  1. Select initial display defaults (products per page, grid columns, default sort) and save. 

  1. Preview on your storefront (desktop, tablet, mobile).
