Action Controls

Purpose: 
To manage the creation, editing, and removal of merchandising rules for each category. 

Available Actions: 

  • Edit: Update existing category configurations settings. 

  • Delete: Permanently remove a merchandising rule from the system. 

Usage Notes: 

  • Changes made through Action Controls are applied instantly once saved. 

  • Deleted rules cannot be recovered, so ensure a backup or export before removing key configurations. 

Example Workflow: 

  1. Open the Categories tab under Merchandising. 

  1. Select a specific category from the list. 

  1. Click Edit to update product rankings or visibility. 

  1. Save changes to apply updates instantly across the storefront.
